Responsibilities
- Develop C++ and Python tools and automation to improve developer productivity.
- Maintain reusable system-level pipelines and automated tests using Jenkins, GitLab, and Python.
- Build dashboards from existing datasets and monitor metrics using Grafana, Elastic/Kibana, and MongoDB.
- Use GNSS simulation and emulation tools to create repeatable automated tests.
- Develop and enhance technical documentation for existing and new infrastructure.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in Computer Science, Geomatics, Computer, or Software Engineering at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Be registered in a Computer Science or Engineering internship/co-op program and have completed at least the second or third year of studies by the start of the work term.
- Be available for a minimum 12-month work term at 37.5 hours per week.
- Demonstrate strong academic credentials and oral and written communication skills.
- Be collaborative, self-starting, detail-oriented, motivated by challenging work, and able to work independently while seeking help when needed.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Git, Elastic/Kibana, Docker, Microsoft Visual C++ in an embedded environment, C++, Python, Linux, and GPS/GNSS/INS.
