Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, test, edit, and implement embedded software applications.
- Develop and reverse engineer software supporting hardware functionality across a wide range of devices.
- Optimize code and configure solutions based on the platform being used.
- Partner with team leadership to troubleshoot and correct operational issues.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to help ensure created software is secure.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Use automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with C/C++.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting embedded software for hardware functionality and platform optimization.
- Experience with embedded software languages and products.
- Experience with software engineering, product management, software products, Agile methodology, and extreme programming.
- Experience solving complex problems within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, reverse engineering, embedded platforms, Android, iOS, Swift, Wind River VxWorks, IDA Pro, OllyDbg, or GDB Debugger.
- Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Ability to work with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance; existing Secret clearance is preferred.
