Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans and test cases covering positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute scalable, maintainable automation scripts for web, Android mobile, and API applications.
- Build, maintain, and improve automation frameworks and identify new automation opportunities.
- Write clean, readable automation code and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate and maintain automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage automated build, test, and deployment environments.
- Work with development and deployment teams to resolve system issues.
- Take ownership of features or modules and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of overall software testing experience with a strong focus on automation for mid- to senior-level candidates.
- Hands-on experience with web, mobile, and API automation using Selenium, Appium, and REST-based tools.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with WebdriverIO and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, including framework improvements.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC and experience in Agile development environments.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Experience maintaining and scaling automation suites for stable and reliable test execution.
- A formal Computer Science degree is preferred; junior candidates with demonstrable skills and experience are equally valued.
- Ability to take ownership, collaborate cross-functionally, and apply software engineering best practices.
