Responsibilities
- Elicit and analyze requirements and create supplemental requirements and low-level technical specifications.
- Estimate development and testing tasks, support project planning, track progress, assess risks, and communicate status.
- Create, review, and revise detailed designs for assigned modules.
- Build and maintain high-priority, complex application systems according to functional and technical specifications.
- Act as the primary reviewer of software engineers’ application code and recommend improvements.
- Participate in test design reviews, perform impact analysis, debug issues, and support problem solving.
- Review technical documentation and maintain records of code reviews and unit test results.
- Follow project processes, SDLC practices, approved policies, and audit requirements.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and provide formal or informal coaching and training.
- Maintain knowledge repositories and coordinate updates in JIRA.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computers or IT, MCA, MSc IT, or Computer Science education.
- 6–8 years of experience analyzing application storyboards or use cases and developing functional application modules; the posting also references 5–7 years for related knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web Forms, Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC, Angular 2+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and T-SQL.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, application architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience creating and consuming web services, designing secure websites, using MS SQL Server, writing stored procedures, triggers, and functions, and designing database schemas.
- Experience with Git, Entity Framework, interfaces between applications, debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and web UI development.
- Preferred qualifications include Visual Studio 2019/2022, SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, automated unit and integration testing, XML, JSON, continuous integration, progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, and AWS services.
- Ability to coordinate with Agile teams and maintain project status updates in JIRA.
