Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications supporting Army AI/ML and analytics initiatives.
- Build responsive front-end applications with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Figma-based designs.
- Develop Python back-end applications, APIs, services, and business logic using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Integrate front-end applications, back-end services, databases, APIs, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Design queries, schemas, data models, and application-level access for relational databases.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automate application builds, testing, security checks, and deployments.
- Containerize and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, including code scanning, dependency management, vulnerability remediation, and automated security testing.
- Deploy and troubleshoot applications across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, designers, cybersecurity professionals, and other technical stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions, provide architecture and technology guidance, mentor engineers, and improve developer experience and delivery processes.
- Consult with Army managers and representatives to identify software needs, develop solutions, and expand LMI’s technical footprint.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience, including deployment and operation of software applications.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Python using Django or Flask.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, data models, and database-backed applications.
- Experience planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
- Demonstrated leadership, technical mentorship, or client relationship management experience.
- Experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft SQL Server, Storybook, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, multi-environment deployment, machine learning and analytical tool integration, government or DoD consulting, strategic planning, distributed applications, and Army software development processes.
- 7+ years of directly related experience and a master’s degree are preferred.
