Responsibilities
- Guide the team in developing software according to specifications and interface designs.
- Develop key software solutions for clients’ critical business needs.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide ongoing feedback, analyses, estimates, reviews, and audits.
- Coach colleagues and support their professional growth.
- Take ownership of projects and tasks while maintaining and strengthening software development guidelines.
- Research, test, and implement new techniques and technologies.
- Advise and consult clients on technical decisions and project direction.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including at least three recent years using modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java.
- At least two years of experience leading a software development team.
- A bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or certificate in a software-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in full-stack web development, application testing, CI/CD pipelines, and domain-driven design.
- Experience with at least one major modern client-side framework or library, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Svelte.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms, virtualization and containerization, mobile development, in-memory storage, caching, queueing systems, microservices, serverless systems, or hexagonal architecture is an asset.
