Responsibilities
- Plan and develop end-to-end engineering solutions across the bank’s IT platform and infrastructure.
- Build reliability, resiliency, maintainability, reusability, and integration into engineering solutions.
- Improve software delivery processes and work with software engineers to ensure development follows established processes.
- Automate and improve development and release processes, including continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring.
- Identify optimization opportunities, troubleshoot multi-tier applications, and implement solutions.
- Support and manage containerized hosting platforms and applications.
- Research technologies, evaluate software for development environments, and collaborate with other technical teams.
- Review engineering plans and quality, promote reuse, and contribute to engineering capability and technology adoption.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as JavaScript, Shell, Perl, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with Java or Python.
- Understanding of design and architectural patterns, microservices, API management, networks, and database automation.
- Experience supporting or building continuous delivery pipelines and using deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary, and A/B deployments.
- Experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Proficiency troubleshooting multi-tier applications.
- Knowledge of market-leading SDLC tools and containerized hosting platforms and applications.
- Hands-on Terraform knowledge.
- Experience with Agile practices and broad software delivery and technology experience.
