Base Salary
$95k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time and batch data pipelines and scalable data pipeline architectures.
- Write reliable, maintainable, documented software supporting millions of respondents.
- Build and manage ETL pipelines for secure migration of large-scale datasets from MSSQL environments to cloud data warehouses.
- Engineer streaming architectures using SNS, Kinesis Data Streams, and Kinesis Data Analytics.
- Build analytics tools and data features that provide actionable business insights.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, pull request reviews, testing, CI/CD integration, and on-call monitoring.
- Collaborate with product managers and business teams on requirements, data extracts, and data analysis.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Technology Management, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year (12 months) of experience as a software engineer or in a closely related occupation.
- At least 1 year of experience reviewing pull requests and integrating CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and managing secure, efficient pipelines for large-scale dataset migration.
- At least 1 year of experience writing and optimizing complex, performance-oriented SQL queries.
- At least 1 year of experience engineering advanced data features or architectures for high-quality data delivery.
- At least 1 year of experience using GitHub, SQL, REST APIs, and Jira; experience may be gained concurrently.
- Experience with Spark, Python, Java or Scala, AWS, and large-scale data processing is required by the described work.
