Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Administer Teradata environments, including performance management, tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, and security.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Teradata systems and large-scale databases.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, manage team performance, and make team decisions.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and contribute to decisions affecting multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement in software quality and team productivity.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Teradata Administration.
- Proficiency in Teradata Administration, including database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Ability to implement backup, recovery, and security strategies for large-scale database systems.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for administrative tasks.
- 15 years of full-time education.
