Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native Android applications for customer-facing banking and credit card features.
- Translate application designs into code across Android and backend platforms, including Java Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop, maintain, execute, and record automated and manual test scripts using BDD practices and test management tools.
- Participate in requirements grooming, design reviews, integration testing, end-to-end validation, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and post-production support.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, unit test creation, API scaffolding, and debugging.
- Perform functional and accessibility validation against acceptance criteria and ADA guidelines.
- Support release go-live activities and technical checkouts for stable deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, onshore, and offshore Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of application development experience with hands-on native Android development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development concepts and automated test scripts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams across the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write secure, stable, maintainable code and own features through delivery.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Angular or native iOS development is advantageous.
- Exposure to Selenium with Cucumber is advantageous.
- Familiarity with OpenShift and AI-assisted development tools is advantageous.
