Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AI-driven automation solutions for field processes and assets.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies, document best practices, and establish standards for long-term operational health.
- Lead discovery and solution-design sessions with field stakeholders.
- Explore and integrate AI capabilities into automation workflows using Workato and emerging AI technologies.
- Document solutions, processes, and best practices for team learning, onboarding, and maintenance.
- Perform self-directed learning and research to deepen expertise in AI and automation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Background in information systems, computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 6+ years of software engineering or technical consulting experience focused on automation or integration platforms.
- End-to-end automation delivery experience on iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Snaplogic; Workato experience is strongly preferred.
- Working experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth authentication, SQL, and relational database systems.
- Experience with generative AI tools such as OpenAI or Anthropic and with vector databases.
- Experience supporting field-related processes such as CRM, sales operations, or customer success workflows.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
- Experience integrating cloud business applications such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, or Gainsight in a field or revenue operations context.
- Coding experience in Python, Java, or Ruby and familiarity with SOAP/XML are ideal qualifications.
- Understanding of security best practices for integration and data handling is preferred.
- UX design experience is a plus.
- Strong English communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, adaptability, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work from 2 pm to 11 pm IST to support the EMEA / US EST timezone.
