Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own and govern the program's QA strategy, automation framework, quality standards, procedures, and compliance posture.
- Lead development of automated unit, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end functional tests.
- Integrate automated testing into the Government-managed DevSecOps pipeline and enforce automation-first and test-driven development practices.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers and review test artifacts, automation scripts, quality reports, and program deliverables.
- Own test automation assessments, coverage analysis, completion plans, milestone tracking, and legacy test automation.
- Deliver RTMs, UAT plans, test reports, release notes, VPATs, QCPs, and other QA program artifacts.
- Define and monitor Acceptable Quality Level thresholds and lead defect triage, root cause analysis, escalation, and closure in JIRA.
- Govern Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility testing and report compliance posture and remediation needs.
- Represent QA in program reviews, sprint ceremonies, Government briefings, and governance forums.
Requirements
- Minimum experience requirements are 12 years with a BS/BA, 10 years with an MS/MA, 7 years with a Ph.D., or 16 years with a high school diploma.
- Active Public Trust, U.S. citizenship, and a cybersecurity workforce certification such as Security+ or CASP+ are required.
- At least 3 years of senior or lead QA experience on Department of War or federal government programs is required.
- Demonstrated expertise with enterprise-scale automated test frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, Python, and Java is required.
- Deep knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Agile/Scrum, and DevSecOps QA integration practices is required.
- Experience owning formal QA artifacts, including RTMs, UAT plans, test reports, and SMPs/CMPs, is required.
- JIRA proficiency and experience leading Section 508/WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility testing and preparing VPATs are required.
- Preferred qualifications include ISTQB Advanced Level, CSQE, eMASS and Fortify experience, federal healthcare or benefits systems experience, NIST SP 800-53 knowledge, ISO/IEC 14764 and ISO/SEI-CMM familiarity, performance/load testing experience, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Project Server, and Oracle/PL/SQL or OCI experience.
Benefits
- Remote work arrangement.
- Target base salary range of $80,000-$128,000 per year.
- Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
