Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
- Design workload scenarios based on production traffic patterns and SLA/SLO requirements.
- Script dynamic test scenarios using parameterization, correlation, data driving, and assertions.
- Integrate load tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing.
- Analyze performance test results and metrics to identify issues, unexpected behavior, and bottlenecks.
- Profile microservices, REST APIs, and database response times under load.
- Collaborate with developers to address client- and server-side performance issues.
- Share testing results and performance findings with technical teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1.5–4 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
- Strong Python and/or Scala scripting skills, including object-oriented programming.
- Basic understanding of cloud-based systems and infrastructure components such as streams, queues, and hosts.
- Experience analyzing test results and identifying issues or unexpected behavior.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to develop performance-testing and performance-analysis skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Desirable experience with performance testing, AWS or another major cloud platform, Gatling, Locust, k6, Docker, CI/CD tools, observability tools, and relevant certifications or courses.
