Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and run automated tests.
- Investigate test failures and fix issues with automated tests.
- Execute pre-scripted load, stress, spike, and soak/endurance performance tests.
- Record latency, response time, throughput, error rates, and HTTP response-code metrics.
- Monitor basic performance metrics using AWS CloudWatch.
- Review test results, identify anomalies and basic performance failures, and report them to intermediate and senior team members.
Requirements
- Up to 1.5 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- Understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Scala.
- Basic understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, headers, payloads, and API status codes.
- Ability to execute tests, review results, and identify issues or unexpected behavior.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
- Basic understanding of performance testing concepts and metrics is desirable.
- Hands-on familiarity with JMeter, Locust, or Gatling is desirable.
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform, AWS CloudWatch, Linux command line, or Git is desirable.
- Relevant certifications or courses such as ISTQB CTFL, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, or JMeter/Locust training are desirable.
