Base Salary
$66k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, execute, and maintain automated unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scripts across Agile sprint cycles.
- Expand automated regression coverage and ensure test cases are incorporated into the Government-managed DevSecOps pipeline.
- Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices, UAT plans, test scenarios, test scripts, test results, testing reports, release notes, and Software Version Descriptions.
- Triage, document, track, replicate, and escalate defects in JIRA while reporting defect and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support security scanning with Fortify, Sonatype, and BURP, including review of scan results before production releases.
- Conduct Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility testing and assist with VPATs and remediation reports.
- Support stress, load, disaster recovery, and Independent Verification & Validation testing in ProdSim and UAT environments.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, quality gates, and DevSecOps activities.
Requirements
- BS/BA with 0 years of experience or a high school diploma with 4 years of experience.
- Experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or software testing, including automated test scripting with a framework or language such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python, or Java.
- Foundational understanding of software testing lifecycles, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevSecOps principles, and CI/CD test integration.
- Basic experience with defect tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance and obtain IAM/IAT Level II certification, including CompTIA Security+.
- Preferred qualifications include ISTQB Foundation certification, TDD familiarity, exposure to Fortify, Sonatype, BURP, Section 508/WCAG testing, ServiceNow, Oracle or PL/SQL, and DoD or federal IT programs.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, documentation skills, collaboration, and communication with technical and Government stakeholders.
