Base Salary
$80k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scripts.
- Deliver automated test cases within Agile sprint schedules and integrate them into the Government-managed DevSecOps pipeline.
- Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices, UAT plans, test scenarios, test scripts, testing reports, release notes, and Software Version Descriptions.
- Document test results and defects, triage and replicate issues, track defects in JIRA, and support escalation reporting.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce quality thresholds, and contribute QA metrics to monthly quality reports.
- Support application security scanning using Fortify, Sonatype, and BURP.
- Conduct Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility testing and assist with VPAT documentation.
- Support stress, load, disaster recovery, and Independent Verification & Validation testing in UAT and ProdSim environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain sprint-level testing, defect, and burn-down metrics.
Requirements
- Requires 2 years of experience with a BS/BA, 0 years with an MS/MA, or 6 years with a high school diploma.
- Requires the ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
- Requires IAM/IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CompTIA CySA+, or GSEC.
- Requires experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or software testing.
- Requires foundational test automation knowledge and automated scripting experience with at least one framework or language such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python, or Java.
- Requires familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, defect tracking, and unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Preferred qualifications include ISTQB Foundation certification, TDD familiarity, exposure to Fortify, Sonatype, BURP, Section 508/WCAG testing, ServiceNow, CI/CD test integration, Oracle or PL/SQL, and DoD or federal IT programs.
- Requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability, clear documentation skills, collaboration, and communication with technical and government stakeholders.
