Responsibilities
- Define and implement quality assurance best practices, test strategies, test plans, test cases, and related testing assets.
- Design, write, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests for functional, regression, integration, and scale testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate code releases across multiple platforms and environments.
- Investigate, record, triage, track, and verify defects through closure.
- Identify quality risks and dependencies early and collaborate on mitigation and eradication plans.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and quality engineers in an Agile environment.
- Continue developing expertise in framework architecture, advanced CI/CD pipelines, and broad-scope test strategy design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
- Hands-on experience with UI web automation and API automation using established frameworks.
- Experience with Java, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Maven, and GitHub.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, QA concepts, methodologies, and test management.
- Competency with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Practical experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, work estimation, and test data management.
- Ability to research and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities.
- Nice-to-have experience with mobile UI automation, functional/manual testing, performance testing using JMeter, AWS services, security testing, or accessibility testing.
- Ability to take ownership, work autonomously within standard guidelines, collaborate effectively, and maintain a strong quality focus.
