Responsibilities

  • Define and implement quality assurance practices, test strategies, plans, cases, and related testing assets with Scrum teams.
  • Design, write, execute, and maintain automated and manual functional, regression, integration, and scale tests.
  • Validate software releases across multiple platforms and environments in collaboration with development teams.
  • Investigate, record, triage, track, and verify defects through closure.
  • Identify quality risks and dependencies early and collaborate on mitigation and eradication plans.
  • Research and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Contribute to test automation framework architecture, continuous testing pipelines, and broader test strategy development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with UI web automation and API automation using established frameworks.
  • Experience with Java, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Maven, and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and QA concepts, methodologies, and test management.
  • Competency with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Git.
  • Practical experience with Agile frameworks, estimating work, and managing test data.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-assisted test generation, predictive analysis, and smart automation tools.
  • UI mobile automation, functional/manual testing, performance testing with JMeter, AWS experience, or security/accessibility testing are nice-to-have qualifications.
