Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a secure OpenStack private cloud environment.
- Implement infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Develop automation and tooling to build and extend the platform.
- Support and enhance infrastructure CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot compute, storage, and networking issues in large production environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to improve workflows for internal users.
- Contribute to 24/7 platform reliability, scalability, and performance tuning.
- Contribute new features to the upstream and open-source communities.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience working in a DevOps or SRE environment.
- Programming experience in Python or a similar language.
- Ability to debug compute, networking, and storage issues in large production environments.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native principles is desirable.
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana is desirable.
- Experience with large-scale or multi-tenant environments is desirable.
- Exposure to GitOps-driven pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or FluxCD is desirable.
- Open-source project contributions are desirable.
