Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and independently develop custom software solutions, workflows, small applications, and dashboards.
- Build data systems and pipelines; analyze, combine, and interpret data from multiple sources.
- Evaluate business needs, elicit and document requirements, and report on complex data analysis.
- Improve data quality and reliability and support application integration efforts.
- Collaborate with product teams, peers, stakeholders, and airline end users to deliver solutions.
- Use Skywise tools including Contour, Code-Workbook, Code, Slate, and Ontology definitions.
- Create and maintain a repository of developed solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, facilitate discussions, and support team and project delivery.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience, including at least four years of Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, PySQL, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience integrating packaged and customized applications from a data-analysis perspective.
- Strong business analyst, stakeholder-management, customer-service, communication, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with the Skywise platform and its tools, including Contour, Code-Workbook, Code, Slate, and Ontology definitions.
- Knowledge of airline and MRO operations is preferred.
- DELMIA knowledge is preferred.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
- Good team-management skills and the ability to work closely with peers.
