AI Engineer (render.ai)

- Develop prompt-engineering solutions for LLM and image-generation systems.
- Own model quality from early experimentation through production monitoring.
- Build evaluation frameworks, offline tests, and A/B experiments.
- Monitor live AI systems for latency, hallucinations, drift, and other failure modes.
- Build production systems in TypeScript and Python.
- Source and clean data to improve prompts, models, and evaluations.
- Help expand render.ai into additional modalities such as voice and video.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Experience with prompt engineering for LLMs and image-generation models.
- Ability to own the model quality lifecycle from experimentation to production.
- Experience building evaluation frameworks, offline tests, and A/B experiments.
- Experience working hands-on with data sourcing and cleaning.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Preferred: experience with modern LLMs and image models such as Flux and Imagen.
- Preferred: experience building AI-native or agent-based products from scratch.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLM observability, tracing, and debugging workflows.
- Preferred: background in rapid prototyping, experimentation, or startup-like environments.
