Base Salary
$130k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery and ongoing support of software projects from end to end.
- Contribute to feature design and review peer code.
- Facilitate engineering discussions and advocate for standard methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with a multifunctional engineering team.
- Build and maintain databases, APIs, and infrastructure for the mortgage task platform.
- Improve systems design, testing, code quality, and maintainability across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience with ES6, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, Node.js, and Go.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database persistence strategies.
- Strong skills with modern technologies for designing, delivering, debugging, and maintaining frontend and backend systems.
- Several years of technical leadership experience with impact beyond the immediate team.
- Experience with TypeScript, Go, or other strongly typed languages.
- Preferred experience scaling relational databases such as Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience building internal platforms at scale and designing GraphQL or REST APIs.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, microservices, mortgage, or regulated fintech.
