Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cross-platform mobile features in React Native for iOS and Android, with responsive web experiences where applicable.
  • Evaluate components, libraries, and architectural patterns for maintainable and performant applications.
  • Write clean, testable, and documented code; develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; and participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to improving mobile development, testing, release, and delivery workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and senior mobile developers to deliver cohesive user-focused experiences.
  • Own assigned work, follow through on commitments, and proactively communicate questions or blockers.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in software development, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience building and shipping mobile applications, including hands-on React Native experience.
  • Familiarity with mobile architecture concepts and patterns and experience implementing maintainable, performant features.
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery.
  • Experience building responsive cross-platform user interfaces for iOS, Android, and web with React Native.
  • Working knowledge of iOS and Android platform conventions and mobile build and release processes; app store publishing experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of mobile performance optimization, debugging, secure coding fundamentals, and mobile accessibility best practices.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in an agile, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
