Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality ReactJS solutions that translate complex UI/UX designs into production-ready applications.
- Provide technical mentorship and guide engineers toward stronger engineering practices.
- Shape and evolve Zscaler’s core design system, including modularity, semantic code, automated testing, performance, and accessibility.
- Define API contracts and integration roadmaps with backend teams and partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Lead systematic refactoring to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide hands-on architecture and strategic technical direction for next-generation user interfaces.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years specializing in large-scale, production-grade ReactJS and Redux applications.
- Expert proficiency with ReactJS, TypeScript, ES6+, and advanced state management paradigms.
- Experience building complex user interfaces, data-heavy dashboards, and advanced data visualizations such as D3.js.
- Deep expertise developing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing suites using Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress.
- Experience designing and deploying large-scale enterprise UIs focused on high availability, performance, and global user experience.
- Curiosity about and active exploration of AI tools, including experience integrating modern technologies to improve workflows and problem solving.
- Preferred experience with performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, code splitting, and tree shaking.
- Preferred familiarity with backend development principles and practical experience using Node.js for API integration, tooling, and debugging.
- Ability to architect scalable, modular solutions for multi-tenant enterprise applications.
