Member of Technical Staff, Portworx - Fullstack Engineering Lead (React & Go)
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance single-page applications using React and TypeScript.
- Own features end to end from requirements and design through implementation, testing, release, and production support.
- Create reusable, accessible, responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, React patterns, and design systems.
- Collaborate with UX, Product Management, backend teams, and engineering leadership to deliver production-ready features.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, API integration, performance, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Cypress or similar frameworks.
- Diagnose complex frontend, testing, and environment issues and drive them to resolution.
- Provide code reviews, mentor engineers, share knowledge, participate in interviewing, and support team development.
- Incorporate customer and field feedback to improve usability, quality, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency with React, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and asynchronous data flows.
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, browser behavior, API integration, and frontend performance.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, SCSS, or equivalent modern styling approaches.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress or a similar end-to-end testing framework and understanding of unit and integration testing.
- Ability to design maintainable and testable solutions, independently debug complex issues, and deliver production features through release and support.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, RxJS, applications built with both React and Angular, Kubernetes, containerized or cloud-native environments, frontend deployment and observability, alternative testing frameworks, frontend test infrastructure, Go, or backend API development.
