Responsibilities
- Define technical architecture and solution designs for Java applications and scalable microservices.
- Create architecture and technical design documents and lead design discussions and technical reviews.
- Establish reusable frameworks, coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review code, integrations, and solutions for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Guide development teams, support implementation, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
- Identify and resolve architecture, security, scalability, and performance risks.
- Recommend technology choices, manage technical dependencies, and support architecture governance.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Java development, solution architecture, or technical architecture.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, integration, and performance optimization.
- Mandatory experience in the banking or financial-services domain.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Java, cloud, architecture, or security certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, encryption, and data protection.
- Equivalent experience gained through progressive architecture and enterprise delivery roles may be considered.
