Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Shopify solutions and integrations.
- Build custom Shopify applications and services that extend Shopify capabilities.
- Integrate Shopify with SAP, HubSpot, and other enterprise systems.
- Lead and participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide development guidance and Shopify best-practice recommendations.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Provide production support and resolve technical issues as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- At least 8 years of overall web application development experience.
- Strong experience with Shopify Plus implementations and customizations.
- Expertise in Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience developing custom Shopify apps and Shopify Functions.
- Deep understanding of Shopify Admin APIs, Storefront APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience integrating Shopify with HubSpot, ERP systems including preferred SAP, payment providers, tax engines, search platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with GitHub-based development workflows and CI/CD processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with B2B Commerce on Shopify, legacy eCommerce migrations, AWS services, middleware integrations, custom checkout, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Understanding of security, scalability, and performance best practices in enterprise eCommerce environments.
