Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer-facing applications and core internal integrations.
- Build systems, automation processes, and tools that improve efficiency and eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Work with business partners to understand requirements and goals, and prepare wireframes and mock-ups.
- Participate in peer reviews to enforce development and security standards.
- Respond to issues, improve monitoring with the Systems Assurance Group, and participate in operational support and on-call rotation.
- Create and maintain relational databases and troubleshoot or tune advanced SQL queries and performance issues.
- Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in self-organizing Agile delivery teams and stay current with testing methods and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JSON, relational data models and databases, and advanced SQL.
- Knowledge of C#, Java, ASP.NET, JavaScript/jQuery, T-SQL, HTML/CSS, and several programming languages.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Angular2, Vue.js, Knockout, React, or Polymer.
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban and knowledge of Agile principles.
- Knowledge of development tools and source control such as Visual Studio, TFS, CVS, JIRA, or Git.
- Ability to create and maintain SQL Server or Oracle databases and tune advanced SQL queries.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain software and technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes and support high-quality software testing.
- Ability to use basic office equipment and perform sedentary work, with occasional standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
