Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end features across Python backend services, APIs, data models, React applications, and TypeScript interfaces.
- Build scalable and resilient backend components supporting web, mobile, and third-party integrations.
- Develop and maintain responsive user-facing features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Contribute to the component library and design system.
- Develop data pipelines supporting analytics, fraud detection, geolocation, and regulatory reporting.
- Promote performance, security, compliance, data privacy, monitoring, and system reliability.
- Participate in incident response, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor engineers, review code, share best practices, and contribute to architectural and product decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems in Python or similar languages, including APIs, services, and data processing pipelines.
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling, including frameworks such as Next.js and TanStack.
- Experience owning features from discovery and technical design through implementation, production rollout, and iteration.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation, plus an understanding of production software delivery and operations.
- Familiarity with data pipeline architecture, analytics, and geolocation-based access controls, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Understanding of AML, KYC, data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in system design.
- Ability to mentor developers, contribute to architecture, and lead technical discussions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, product awareness, curiosity, and pragmatic first-principles thinking.
