Responsibilities
- Design and implement the page composition engine for Linear TV pages.
- Build content ordering systems using customer behavior and business rules.
- Develop and maintain search services for live programs, channels, and upcoming shows.
- Integrate recommendation systems into personalized content listings and search ranking.
- Build scalable caching and content delivery mechanisms for low-latency responses.
- Collaborate with client teams to evolve page composition and search APIs.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
