Base Salary
$106k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and manage Warehouse Management System solutions supporting McKesson Distribution Centers.
- Analyze requirements, create automated tests, and verify that software solutions satisfy business and technical requirements.
- Monitor application performance, investigate errors, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement remediation.
- Integrate applications and platforms while supporting interoperability, reliability, and design standards.
- Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, business partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve application issues.
- Own development activities from technical planning through deployment and participate in design and code reviews.
- Apply automation, CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and release management to improve software quality and delivery reliability.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, strategic planning, technical documentation, development standards, and operational support materials.
- Share engineering best practices and provide technical guidance or mentoring to team members.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience, including exposure to enterprise-scale systems.
- Hands-on IBM i/AS400 software development experience using RPGLE, CLLE, and SQL.
- Ability to create modern, modular ILE programs using RPGLE, SQL, and CLLE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, Agile delivery, collaborative version-control workflows, software integration, service-to-service communication, release management, and environment promotion.
- Strong analytical, debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, REST APIs, Kafka, MongoDB, test automation frameworks, monitoring automation, and distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or healthcare distribution environments.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management and Order-to-Cash processes.
