Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts based on user stories.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
- Review test coverage and automation approaches with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Track test execution, defects, issues, risks, dependencies, and project impacts through resolution.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios based on business objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to resolve issues and drive adoption.
- Identify and manage environmental and test-data requirements.
- Provide mentorship on test coverage and test cases.
- Develop detailed product knowledge and maintain process-compliance documentation.
- Align risk and control processes with day-to-day testing responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
- Extensive experience testing components based on modern scripting languages.
- Experience writing sophisticated SQL queries.
- Experience with JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models and onsite/offshore coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, testing models, methodologies, and processes.
- Experience with front-end and back-end testing using Java and Selenium.
- Understanding of smoke, black-box, non-black-box, and regression testing.
- Ability to work effectively with business clients and technical teams, independently and collaboratively.
- Capital markets domain experience is preferred.
