Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites for embedded systems.
- Develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop test workflows.
- Support system-level testing across development, integration, validation, and deployment activities.
- Debug hardware/software interface issues and troubleshoot system-level failures.
- Develop Python test scripts and tools using modern test frameworks.
- Integrate, configure, and commission hardware in laboratory test environments.
- Maintain lab setups and resolve connectivity issues involving hardware components.
- Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.
- Document test procedures, results, and system interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, integration, and service enablement teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software development, automation, or embedded systems testing.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience with embedded systems and low-level debugging.
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN communication protocols.
- Experience with HIL and SIL testing environments is preferred.
- Hands-on laboratory hardware experience and experience integrating and validating hardware in test setups are preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux systems, and Bash or equivalent scripting is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools for test results and telemetry evaluation is preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
