Base Salary
$105k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure software tools and microservices.
- Design software subsystems that promote code reuse and follow established technical standards.
- Develop and integrate custom APIs, including APIs that expose AI/ML model outputs for enterprise applications.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure, including Google Kubernetes Engine clusters, using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software building, testing, and deployment.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud’s operations suite.
- Collaborate with security teams on security patching, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding practices.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
- DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+, is required.
- At least 3–5+ years of professional software development experience is required.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Bash is required.
- Experience with Docker and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration are required.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable CI/CD tools is required.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs and firewall rules, and secure coding in a GCP environment is required.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with Apache Spark or Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification, and experience in regulated DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
