Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and other SaaS services.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and backend performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Manage databases and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Stay current with emerging backend development technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Proven backend development experience with Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS is preferred.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, performance tuning, and backend optimization is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred.
