  • Validate simulation outputs against real-world flight data and refine models.
  • Optimize simulations for real-time execution and varied test environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and testing cycles.
  • Document modeling assumptions, validation results, and integration workflows.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Julia or strong experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++.
  • Understanding of 6DOF dynamics and simulation principles, particularly in aerospace or robotics.
  • Familiarity with physical-system modeling, hardware-in-the-loop, or physics-informed simulation techniques.
  • Experience validating and analyzing data by comparing simulation outputs with real-world data.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus' mission.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing due to access to U.S.-controlled information and items.

Benefits
