Base Salary
$230k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive projects to enhance cost efficiency, such as reducing network egress costs.
- Optimize storage solutions for warehouse data.
- Ensure effective autoscaling for databases and compute resources.
- Improve cost attribution visibility for engineering teams.
- Participate in incident support and on-call rotations.
- Contribute to problem-solving and PR approvals for infrastructure-related issues.
Requirements
- Strong background in SRE, DevOps, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of major cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and related tools.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies, preferably Istio.
- Understanding of networking concepts including DNS and TLS.
- Experience with observability tools, preferably Datadog.
- Knowledge of security practices including IAM and RBAC.
- Competence in scripting with Bash and Python or similar languages.
