Responsibilities
- Build cost observability and usage-tracking tooling for LLM and agent workloads.
- Design and ship internal tooling and guardrails for safe, productive agentic coding workflows.
- Evaluate AI tools, models, and vendors and develop build-versus-buy recommendations.
- Write and maintain production-quality code and automated tests.
- Review peer code for correctness, readability, and maintainability.
- Own projects end to end from scoping through production rollout across infrastructure, tooling, and process work.
- Establish and socialize best practices for AI usage across the business.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Ability to operate independently on unfamiliar codebases.
- Track record of owning and shipping mid-sized features or projects end to end.
- Experience building distributed data systems, feedback loops, and impact metrics.
- Strong testing discipline and experience improving CI/CD or developer tooling.
- Problem-solving orientation rather than focus on a particular technology stack or language.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with LLM or agentic tooling, AI cost observability, or internal developer platforms.
- Generalist mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
