Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize firmware for next-generation flash controllers.
  • Contribute to the development of security architectures and new security functions.
  • Design and implement concepts for data and firmware security.
  • Collaborate with the test team to comprehensively validate product security functions.
  • Support product certifications under internationally recognized security standards, including FIPS, NIST, TCG, and OCP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Very good knowledge of common symmetric and asymmetric encryption and signature methods.
  • Knowledge of legal cybersecurity requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act.
  • Very good knowledge of the C programming language.
  • Experience with microprocessors, embedded-system architecture, compilers, and embedded software development tools.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Embedded software development experience is advantageous, but beginners are welcome.
  • Experience with internationally recognized security certification processes is a plus.
  • Experience with storage-device host interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe is advantageous.
