Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize firmware for next-generation flash controllers.
- Contribute to the development of security architectures and new security functions.
- Design and implement concepts for data and firmware security.
- Collaborate with the test team to comprehensively validate product security functions.
- Support product certifications under internationally recognized security standards, including FIPS, NIST, TCG, and OCP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
- Very good knowledge of common symmetric and asymmetric encryption and signature methods.
- Knowledge of legal cybersecurity requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Very good knowledge of the C programming language.
- Experience with microprocessors, embedded-system architecture, compilers, and embedded software development tools.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Embedded software development experience is advantageous, but beginners are welcome.
- Experience with internationally recognized security certification processes is a plus.
- Experience with storage-device host interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe is advantageous.
