Base Salary
$140k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance backend systems for AI-driven analytics.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs for real-time insights and data retrieval.
- Optimize data-processing pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability across the technology stack.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and data scientists to deliver features.
- Own technical decisions while balancing delivery speed and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong backend development portfolio or GitHub demonstrating relevant expertise.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Rust and experience with scalable backend architecture.
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or OLAP databases and query optimization.
- Experience designing efficient data pipelines and working with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security best practices, API authentication, and performance tuning.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment.
