Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Apache NiFi dataflows for application, system, and data integrations.
- Implement routing, transformation, enrichment, filtering, and orchestration patterns using NiFi processors, scripts, and templates.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize NiFi flows in production environments.
- Manage high availability, backpressure, performance tuning, and load balancing in NiFi clusters.
- Handle versioning, configuration, and lifecycle management through NiFi Registry.
- Apply security, data governance, auditability, and sensitive-data handling practices across dataflows.
- Participate in on-call third-level support to maintain platform availability and reliability.
- Provide consultative business and system integration services and translate customer needs into technology solutions.
- Guide and coach developers from user teams in using Apache NiFi.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Extensible Stylesheet Language XSL.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, including flow design, templates, processors, and NiFi Registry.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and dataflow architecture.
- Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT transformation, and scripting using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Kafka, message queues, event streaming, and data pipelines.
- Understanding of certificates, authentication, authorization, encryption, and encrypted flows.
- Proficiency with Linux, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for distributed flow environments.
