Responsibilities

  • Analyze specifications and functional requirements to ensure testability.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Integrate and develop automation tools.
  • Define test environments, test suites, test plans, and detailed test cases.
  • Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Collaborate with department members, leadership, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop technical documentation, best practices, and feature documentation.
  • Demonstrate processes and train team members.
  • Stay current with testing methodologies, tools, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 0–2 years of experience with automated testing methodologies and principles.
  • Experience developing test automation frameworks using Java or Python.
  • Experience testing large-scale, high-availability, distributed systems involving hardware and software.
  • Experience with defect logging and triage.
  • Working knowledge of test management software such as Jira or Test Rail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated team mentoring capability.
  • Preferred experience in complex hardware laboratory environments, telecommunications, networking concepts, and security, performance, or scalability testing.
