Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test and verification frameworks for AI, systems, and embedded software products.
- Develop Python-based test automation solutions and automated suites for functionality, performance, reliability, and regression testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, including Jenkins-based automation workflows.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve software and test infrastructure issues.
- Partner with software, machine learning, and systems engineers on testing requirements and verification strategies.
- Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify improvements and drive defect resolution.
- Improve test efficiency, scalability, and maintainability through automation and tooling.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 1+ year of relevant experience or a PhD.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, software verification, or related technical roles is listed in the role description.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and verification practices.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong Linux development and debugging experience, including troubleshooting complex software issues and analyzing root causes.
- Knowledge of software quality, testing principles, and automation best practices.
- Preferred experience with large-scale test automation frameworks, embedded software, firmware, device validation, or hardware/software integration testing.
- Preferred experience with machine learning workflows, AI software products, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-based development and testing environments, and C or C++.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team best practices is preferred.
