Base Salary
$100k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug moderately complex software products using systematic tests and maintain quality standards.
- Perform software tests on code and enhancements and develop, modify, and execute test plans.
- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
- Maintain test-result documentation to support debugging and software modification.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
- Provide feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
- Ensure quality computer integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in the discipline and ability to solve straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.
- Ability to explain complex information in straightforward situations.
- New college graduate status, as specified for the position.
