Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Ruby, Cucumber, and Cypress for web, web services, and database applications.
- Extend the existing test automation framework and ensure appropriate coverage of project requirements.
- Execute tests, analyze results, report metrics, and identify and track defects through resolution.
- Define and maintain test data while following and improving team testing processes and standards.
- Provide testing guidance, mentoring, training, and subject-matter expertise on system and framework functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to understand testing needs and communicate results.
- Drive automated testing across projects and contribute to team and company objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related work experience.
- Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
- Preferred ISTQB, CSTP, or CAT certification.
- Preferred functional testing experience in banking, financial services, or insurance.
- Preferred Jack Henry or consumer deposit testing experience.
- Experience or knowledge of test management, test case design, JavaScript and Cypress, SQL, SDLC, STLC, quality assurance, database testing, Jira, and API testing.
