Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions supporting regulatory and financial technology needs.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical-debt reduction, and performance improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and influence long-term technology strategy in a you-build-it, you-own-it environment.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred: 3+ years with databases and database management systems, cloud technologies, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, and troubleshooting cloud environments.
- Preferred: 4+ years contributing to open-source frameworks and creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred: 3+ years with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, and Git-based version-control systems.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, observability, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives.
- Preferred: experience establishing coding standards and design patterns across teams.

- Full-time annual base salary varies by location from $179,400-$204,700 to $215,200-$245,600; the role may also include performance-based incentive compensation.
