Base Salary
$148k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive complex, end-to-end projects by leading design, implementation, and delivery of features.
- Shape technical direction and architecture to improve system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
- Identify and address technical debt through proactive improvements to the codebase.
- Design systems for performance and scale to handle life sciences R&D complexity.
- Mentor and support other engineers to enhance team technical skills.
- Elevate code quality and engineering practices through thorough reviews and high standards.
- Embrace ambiguity and adapt to evolving scientific requirements.
- Act with ownership and accountability for code and its outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building scalable, reliable systems with a focus on performance.
- Leadership in engineering practices and high standards in testing and code quality.
- Proven ability to work across teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Strategic problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
- Ability to advocate for technical solutions that enhance quality and maintainability.
