Base Salary
$158k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain microservices in Java/Kotlin for high-traffic systems.
- Implement best practices for service communication and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to design data pipelines.
- Ensure Growth data is accurate and accessible for decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable backend solutions.
- Participate in architectural and code reviews to improve service quality.
- Develop services for A/B testing and real-time performance monitoring.
- Integrate secure coding practices to protect user data and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in modern engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with high throughput and low latency distributed systems.
- Cloud experience with GCP or AWS, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk and Grafana.
