Responsibilities
- Lead projects requiring collaboration from multiple engineers, managing the full software lifecycle.
- Own team-level architecture for enterprise systems, ensuring cohesive and secure solutions.
- Build and operate production applications using AWS-native services.
- Design AI-powered workflows to automate business processes and enhance delivery.
- Establish best practices for AI system development and operation.
- Create data pipelines and models for reliable data flow across systems.
- Promote engineering best practices and a culture of robust software development.
- Mentor and coach engineers to enhance their technical skills.
- Simplify systems and advocate for long-term architectural solutions.
- Communicate technical designs and decisions clearly in writing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with production systems.
- 2+ years of experience building AI/ML-powered systems in production.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Experience designing applications using AWS-native services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-engineer projects and make architectural decisions.
- Experience with data pipelines and data models.
- Track record of incremental shipping and iterative development.
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Ability to solve complex problems with simplicity.
