Base Salary
$172k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the architecture of legal systems for scalability and adaptability.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve legal workflows through automation and AI.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions.
- Translate legal team experimentation into production-ready solutions.
- Build and oversee integrations across various legal tools.
- Develop APIs, automations, and data pipelines to connect systems.
- Provide technical leadership for eDiscovery and Information Governance workflows.
- Operate as a hands-on technical lead for long-term evolution.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, or architecture roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, Codex, or Copilot.
- Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.
- Deep experience with ELM/eBilling, preferably Brightflag.
- Strong eDiscovery experience, particularly with the EDRM lifecycle.
- Understanding of legal workflows including contracts, billing, and discovery.
- Experience with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
